Copper Harbor Mountain Bike Trail Conditions

Copper Harbor sits at the tip of the Keweenaw, as far north as Michigan goes, and rides like nowhere else in the Midwest — bedrock slab, hand-built flow and technical rock gardens dropping off Brockway Mountain toward Lake Superior. The tread is rock and thin organic soil over it, which drains quickly but stays greasy under wet leaves. The riding season is the shortest in the region and the payoff is the most alpine feel east of the Rockies.
