The Mohican State Park loop is a destination ride rather than a network — a long, rooty, hand-built singletrack circuit above the Clear Fork gorge, run through hemlock and hardwood on the edge of Ohio's glaciated line. The tread is clay and root over sandstone, slow to dry and famously slick when wet. Ridden dry it is one of the best long loops in the state; ridden wet it takes damage, and the park says so.
