Terms
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Welcome to Is It Rideable. By using the app or website ("the Service") you agree to these terms. We've kept them plain. Please read the safety note โ it matters.
โ ๏ธ Conditions are informational only. Is It Rideable estimates trail conditions from real weather, terrain, soil, and snow data, but the ground is the final word. We do not provide safety, avalanche, or route-finding advice. Trails, weather, and hazards change fast. Always ride within your ability, obey posted closures and land-manager rules, and judge conditions for yourself. You ride at your own risk.
You may use the Service for your own personal, lawful trail-riding decisions. You agree not to misuse it โ including scraping or bulk-extracting our data, reselling or redistributing it, reverse-engineering the Service, interfering with its operation, or using it to break the law or infringe others' rights.
Some features need an account. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you spot unauthorized use.
When you submit a condition report or other content, you confirm it's your own honest observation and you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and use it to power the Service (for example, showing recent reports to other riders). Keep it accurate and civil โ we may remove content or accounts that are abusive, misleading, or violate these terms.
The Service, its design, and its content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We build on public and licensed data sources; those remain the property of their owners. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service โ not to copy, resell, or build a competing product from it.
The Service relies on third parties (for example, weather and mapping data, payments, and email) and may link to other sites. We're not responsible for third-party content or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that conditions, forecasts, closures, or any information are accurate, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Is It Rideable and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on any information in it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update the Service and these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
